We see it in your desire to provide all youth with high-quality academic and social environments despite their abilities or disabilities. That's why you belong in Lewis University's Special Education\, MA program.\n\n	Program is specially designed to prepare you to teach students with disabilities in kindergarten through age 22 in public and private schools.\n	Cohort-based format allows you to build collaborative relationships with colleagues so you can build inclusive communities for learners\, become an informed decision-maker\, and be prepared to use a variety of teaching methods across academic disciplines.\n	Three field experiences prior to student teaching to provide you with diverse teaching experiences.\n	Low student-to-teacher ratio allows you to work closely with faculty mentors to build relationships that last well beyond graduation.\n	Program can be completed in six semesters (including summers).\n	Highly reputable program has resulted in our graduates being in-demand by local school districts.\n	The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 6% growth in demand for Special Ed teachers through 2024.\n\nJoin Lewis for a Virtual Information Session where they'll discuss the program\, the demand for Special Education teachers\, and how they can help you impact your world for the better.
