Designed for Community members interested in helping the Center for Gerontology to shape an educational environment that disrupts ageist beliefs and biases and promotes intergenerational solidarity through Age-Inclusive Higher Educational opportunities at Concordia University
Register for a Focus Group if YOU are:
• An older person who desires to stay engaged in some form of learning for personal development
• An older learner seeking to meet your professional goals as you transition to working part time
• Committed to being part of an Age-Friendly Community that values citizen input when new programs are being developed
• Experienced in education and would like to assist in developing university level intergenerational programs
• An innovator with ideas for special programs that the Center for Gerontology could offer, e.g. workshop intensives or distinguished speaker events
You'll need some details:
• Each focus group will be limited to 12 people
• Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis
• Feedback from focus groups will be incorporated into a report to the Office of Strategy & Innovation for Concordia University
• All comments will be anonymous unless you agree to be quoted
• Gift cards will be awarded within one week of your completed participation
