Coping During COVID-19 ... Let's Talk
As business owners, this year has been rough in too many ways to count. Maybe you've got family and friends to talk to, and now we've designed a mental health check-in Zoom session for you on Tuesday, August 18 with some professionals.
Join us and our partners, Anna Padron Sikora, VP at Pillars Community Health, and Alexandra Alexandra Colaianni, MS, MSW, LCSW at AMITA Health to discuss this topic that should not be taboo, but rather shared to help everyone feel better.
Anna began professional career providing therapeutic and case management services to high risk children and their families in the community, schools and homes. At Pillars, she has worked with a wide range of clients from birth to older adulthood, providing both crisis and therapeutic services. She is proud to be a bilingual/bicultural leader within the agency and in the community. Alexandra has worked as a clinical social worker for AMITA Health during the last decade. Alexandra's professional clinical experience includes supporting individuals of all ages and their families through care management, crisis, psychiatric disorders, trauma and substance abuse. She incorporates different aspects of mindfulness, overall wellness and motivational interviewing in her practice. In 2019, she spoke at the National Association of Social Workers Illinois Conference and the National Alliance of Mental Illness Illinois Conference. She is passionate about wellness and community mental health education.
