Join LTMHC and NAMI Metro Suburban for a two-part educational series designed to help parents, guardians, and caregivers learn how to better support the mental health of the young people in their lives.
These workshops will provide practical tools, meaningful insights, and supportive guidance to help families navigate mental health challenges with confidence and compassion.
This session will help parents and caregivers recognize early warning signs of mental health challenges and suicide risk in adolescents. Participants will gain practical tools for starting meaningful, age-appropriate conversations with children about their mental health. The evening concludes with a young adult speaker who will share their lived experience with a mental health condition, offering insight and hope.
These workshops are free and open to parents, guardians, and loved ones seeking to build stronger, healthier connections with the youth in their lives.
