Memorial Day Cookout!

Join NAMI Metro Suburban for our Annual Memorial Day Cookout at the Drop-In Center! Open to peers, staff, family, and community members, this event is a great opportunity to connect, celebrate community, and enjoy a fun, welcoming environment.

Stop by between 1–7 PM for an afternoon of connection, with hot dogs and burgers served from 1–5 PM. Guests are also welcome to bring a side dish, dessert, or non-alcoholic beverage to share. Don’t forget to show your NAMI pride by wearing your blue Drop-In shirt!

The Drop-In Center is for adults (18+) living with a mental health condition, offering a safe, stigma-free space to connect, build recovery skills, and find support. Using a Clubhouse Model, it focuses on peer support, socialization, life skills, and job readiness—without therapists or psychiatrists on staff
